On Monday, Future had laid into his former partner Ciara on Twitter concerning their custody battle over their toddler son.
Ciara is privately seething about the abusive tweets sent by her ex-fiancé Future concerning the custody of their young son, and reckons that he’s simply “jealous she has moved on and is happy” and might even be using the situation to promote his music.
The 30 year old star was slammed as a “b****” with “control problems” by her former partner in a series of tweets recently, but sources close to her stated to People that she has never banned the 32 year old rapper from having contact with their one year old son, Future Zahir.
Future, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, dated Ciara for 19 months before they acrimoniously split up in August 2014, just three months after the birth of their son.
Sources close to Ciara deny the claims her ex-fiance Future made via Twitter
He hit out his ex via Twitter on Monday (January 4th), claiming that she was forcing him to spend “$15k a month” on a custody battle, but has since deleted one post referring to her as a “b****”.
Some of his other tweets read: “I jus [sic] want babyfuture that's all… …I been silent for a year & a half… I ran outta patience.”
However, the unnamed source close to Ciara rubbished this claim, saying: “He does not nor has he ever paid $15,000 in child support. It's just not true. Ciara has never prevented him from seeing his child.”
Furthermore, the ‘Goodies’ singer possibly believes that Future is using the custody battle in order to keep his name in the media and therefore promote his music. “Ciara has said that Future uses the situation to promote his music by staying in the press using her name.”
“He is jealous she has moved on and is happy. He is unable to move on and co-parent in a healthy way. Future has told her he hopes she fails in everything she does and that's just being evil.”
Ciara is currently dating the Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson, having started going out in April 2015.
