Ciara thinks celibacy is ''awesome''.
The 29-year-old singer is currently dating American football player Russell Wilson and has claimed she's comfortable with him revealing their situation in church, even though it was not something they'd planned beforehand.
She explained: ''It was one of those things where it was an organic conversation he was having. I don't think he expected to talk about it either. But I guess he was just speaking the reality of what is really going on.''
Ciara - who already has a 15-month-old son named Future with her ex-fiance, the rapper Future - said their belief in the Christian faith is what led them to take the decision.
She told 'CBS This Morning': ''It was at church, and I think the cool thing is just being able to share our journey with some other people like us. It's a great challenge. I can definitely say that. But it's awesome because we get to really challenge ourselves, get to know each other and really build a foundation.''
Meanwhile, Ciara also hit back at her ex fiance's recent criticism of her for bringing Russell around their son, Future.
The 'Like a Boy' hitmaker said: ''It's been very interesting to hear what a lot of guys have to say, and I feel like, in a sense, it's a bit of double standard, you know? Because, at one time when we were together, I took care of his kids, as well, at a very young time in our relationship.''
Ahead of their upcoming tour, and prior to the release of their long awaited album, Smoke Fairies played a great warm-up gig at Elsewhere in Margate.
