Expect some extraordinary upcoming talent from one of the festival's most diverse showcases.
Austin's 2015 SXSW Festival draws ever nearer, with a line-up already rich in upcoming talent and vibrant diversity. There's something for everyone at this iconic citywide musical celebration, and nothing encompasses that more than Hype Machine's Hype Hotel Presented by Feed the Beat spot.
Hype Hotel is set to return to SXSW for 2015
Now heading into its fourth year, we can expect Hype Hotel to be full of yet more talented new bands and artists for 2015. Selected by a variety of different music blogs, the line-up is awash with the very best of all genres including indie, rock, pop, electronic, rap and R&B, who entertain fans of different ages and cultures for five days during the event, which this year takes place from March 17th to 22nd.
The Canadian Dj duo had been booked to perform the penultimate set on the John Peel Stage on Saturday (28Jun14), but they have since had to cancel the show.
Glastonbury bosses have now drafted in Scottish rockers Twin Atlantic to fill the gap - and the band can't believe its luck.

Electronic dance stars Chromeo are reportedly moving into the travel industry by becoming shareholders in a little-known budget airline firm in their native Canada.
Musicians David 'Dave 1' MACklovitch and Patrick 'P-Thugg' Gemayel accept they are unlikely choices as partners in the airline business, but they claim they were quickly won over by Mallard Air bosses' presentation.
Frontman Dave 1 says, "When Mallard approached us about share acquisition, we thought it was a joke. But when we got to know the people behind the airline, a creative and dynamic group of engineers and venture capitalists, this partnership made total sense. Besides, our business managers always encouraged us to diversify our investments. For a band like us, this feels bold and new."

With great food, a healthy atmosphere and a short but 'sweet' line-up, Sweetlife 2014 is not worth missing.
Billed as 'a music and food festival', Sweetlife 2014 is set to offer the best of both with their single day event this weekend (May 10th 2014) at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.
With the grand setting of masses of surrounding forestland, Sweetlife has developed into a much-loved annual party since its inception in 2010 when it was simply a small event held outside the Sweetgreen food destination in Dupont, Washington DC. And yet, it has maintained its solid ethics of green living and healthy eating, enforcing this with offers of local produce and green set-ups such as solar powered stages, composting waste disposal and recycling units. To make it even better, all proceeds from the event go to a very worthy charitable cause!

The electro-pop group played a set in the city's Meatpacking District in Manhattan in association with Belvedere vodka and charity (RED).
Their typically upbeat set with filled with dancefloor gems and plenty of tracks which veered dangerously close to bad taste - as is their trademark - including Prince's 'I Wanna Be Your Lover' and mixes of their own tracks 'Bonafied Lovin' and 'Hot Mess'.
