Actor Christopher Walken has vowed to stick to his day job, after realising he doesn't make a good director.

The CATCH ME IF YOU CAN star admits he's far too relaxed on film sets to direct a cast and crew, which he learned while working on 2001's POPCORN SHRIMP.

He says, "I directed a little film for a cable (network) and I wasn't good. I only found out when I got there.

"People would ask me, 'What do you think? What do you wanna do?' And I'd just say, 'Just do whatever you want.' And that's not good. (The film) was awful."
