Christopher Plummer is still sore about missing out on the lead in 1964 movie Becket - because he originated the role on the stage.
Peter O'Toole earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Henry II in the historical epic but Plummer, who is a favourite to land next year's Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role in Beginners, feels the part should have been his.
He tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I made a little success in London in Becket... (and) I was furious when Peter O'Toole, my friend, got it (the lead). Son of a b**ch!"
