Christopher Plummer is disputing his own Oscars record just two days after becoming the oldest actor ever to win an Oscar.
The Beginners star was 82 on Sunday (26Feb12) when he picked up the Best Supporting Actor trophy at the Academy Awards - but he thinks Oscars bosses may have overlooked Charlie Chaplin's victory in 1972.
Plummer says, "Charlie Chaplin won an Oscar and he was 83 years old, I think. I know it was an honorary Oscar, but an Oscar is an Oscar... so I think he had the edge on me."
