Director Christopher Nolan has taken legal action against his talent agents in a bid to settle a dispute over film commission.
The Dark Knight Rises filmmaker signed with William Morris Endeavor (Wme) earlier this year (12) after his lead agent was fired from Creative Artists Agency (Caa), but his former representatives claim they are still owed money on projects Nolan and Thomas have continued to work on with Wme.
Nolan and his producer wife Emma Thomas insist they are prepared to hand over the commission owed, but are asking a judge to step in to clarify which agency is entitled to profits from their various projects to avoid potential lawsuits being filed against the couple in the future, according to Tmz.com.
The Nolans' lawsuit was filed on Thursday (06Sep12) in Los Angeles Superior Court.
