'The Matrix' actor Keanu Reeves chats to a couple as he arrives at New York City's Museum of Modern Art for the premiere of documentary 'Side By Side' which he co-produced. He goes to pose for press photos and turns his back on the photographers as if to suggest that the flashing cameras were hurting his eyes. Film producer Jane Rosenthal soon joins him for joint snaps and he later poses alongside 'Side By Side' director Christopher Kenneally.
The documentary based on film creation will be Reeves' first credited role as a producer having become a widely successful Hollywood star over his long and prolific acting career. He is also set to try his hand at directing with the upcoming action movie 'Man of Tai Chi' set for release next year
I'm not sure if the perverse phenomenon that is competitive eating deserves its own feature length documentary, but I suppose Crazy Legs Conti is as good a subject as any. This film tracks the congenial New Yorker from amateur oyster eater to the World Series of eating: Coney Island's Nathan's Famous Hot Dog eating contest. While Conti is a likeable fellow and much is made of the physical and mental preparation required to become a competitive eating champion, that unfortunately doesn't change one fact: This. Is. Nasty.
