The Austrian actor has allegedly been cast to play 007's nemesis in the 24th Bond movie.
Two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, who became a Hollywood star after appearing in 2009's 'Inglourious Basterds,' is reportedly set to become James Bonds' latest villain as he is expected to star alongside Daniel Craig in the next 007 movie.
Waltz has reportedly signed on to play the next Bond Villain
The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye first revealed this casting news via Twitter on Thursday (Nov 13th), while claiming the upcoming spy flick will begin shooting early next month in Mexico, Morocco, Austria, Italy and London.
Bamigboye also wrote a follow-up article in the Daily Mail, in which he reports the Austrian actor will portray Bond's nemesis, but also implies his role will be quite different than the film franchises' previous villains. A source close to the production team said, "It's not immediately evident whether the part's friend, or foe, or a bit of both."

In April it was previously reported '12 Years A Slave' actor Chiwetel Ejiofor was being considered for the role of the primary antagonist, but with Waltz's attachment to the production this seems highly unlikely.
Sam Mendes is returning as director, following on from the $1 billion outing 2012's 'Skyfall' accomplished. Other cast members reprising their roles include, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw AS Q and Naomie Harris as Moneypenny.
Waltz is also known for his roles in 'Django: Unchained' and 'Water for Elephants,' he can be next seen starring alongside Amy Adams in the biopic film 'Big Eyes,' due out on December 25th, 2014.
