Christina Milian has signed to Young Money Records. According to Billboard.com, the 30 year old singer has confirmed a recording deal with the label, which was founded by Lil Wayne and is also home to T Pain, Nicki Minaj and Drake, amongst others. She announced the news via her Twitter account on Sunday and at the pre-Grammys Cash Money party (Young Money is an imprint of Cash Money), Lil Wayne introduced the singer by saying "Y'all make some noise for Christna Milian... Young Money Christina Milian!"
Christina Milian has not released and album since 2006, when So Amazin', her third album, was released by Island Records. According to the Billboard story, her fourth studio album has been a work in progress since 2008. Other labels, such as Interscope and Radio Killa Records. In 2009, it is thought that a version of the album was completed, entitled Elope, with her ex-husband The-Dream at the helm, as well as Tricky Stewart. Milian and The-Dream divorced in October 2011.
Milian is also the social media correspondent for NBC's high profile talent show The Voice. The show features Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as judges and mentors. Milian's role is to interact with fans of the show, through various social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
