Christina Milian (born Christine Marie Flores, 26.09.1981)
Christina Milian is an American actress and singer.
Childhood: Christina Milian was born in Jersey City, New Jersey but grew up in Waldorf, Maryland. Her parents are Carmen and Don Flores; they divorced when she was 13. She changed her name to Milian when she began to pursue an acting career. At the age of nine, she auditioned for talent agencies and appeared in commercials for Wendy's and Honeycomb. She moved to LA at 13 in order to become an actress.
Career: Christina Milian met Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins when she moved and they began working together in the recording studio after he was impressed by her singing voice. She started writing songs at 17 in order to put together a demo to get a record deal. In 2000, she appeared on Ja Rule's second album 'Rule 3:36' in the song 'Between Me and You' which reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and landed her a deal with Def Soul records. The following year she co-wrote Jennifer Lopez's track 'Play' and PYT's first single 'Same Ol' Same Ol''. That year also saw the release of her self-titled debut album in the UK. Two singles from the album, ‘AM to PM’ and ‘When You Look at Me’, both charted worldwide, reaching number three in the UK. One of her first big acting roles was on 1998 TV series ‘Movie Surfers’. She also appeared in episodes of ‘Sister, Sister’ and ‘Smart Guy’, as well as in the movies ‘American Pie’ and ‘The Wood’. 2002 saw her become a host for MTV’s live music show ‘Wannabe’ before appearing in the movie ‘Torque’ in 2004, which starred Martin Henderson and Ice Cube, and landing a lead role in ‘Love Don't Cost a Thing’ opposite Nick Cannon. In 2003, Def Soul shut down and she was transferred to Island Records. The following year she released her second album 'It's About Time' which included the Grammy nominated hit track 'Dip It Low'. She opened for Usher and Kanye West on tour to promote the album, which hit number 14 on the Billboard 200 album chart and received a Grammy nomination. She appeared in the movie 'Be Cool' in 2005 with John Travolta and Uma Thurman, before starring alongside Kristen Bell and Ian Somerhalder in the 2006 horror 'Pulse'. In 2006, she released third album 'So Amazin'' produced by Cool & Dre. Its lead single, 'Say I', featured Young Jeezy and hit number four in the UK while the album reached number eleven on the Billboard 200. That year, she left Island Def Jam allegedly due to a 'budget cut'. In 2008, she signed with MySpace Records and released single 'Us Against the World' she announced that she would release a fourth album, 'Elope', on which she collaborated with the likes of Kanye West, Rick Ross and Pitbull. However, after recording some songs she returned to acting briefly to film 'Bring It On: Fight to the Finish'. She starred in the Christmas movie 'Snowglobe' alongside Lorraine Bracco in 2007 and had a role in 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' with Matthew McConaughey in 2009. In 2009, she signed with Radio Killa Records but later also signed a deal to release 'Elope' through Interscope Records. The album was meant to be released in 2010, but her marriage and pregnancy delayed it. In 2011, she became the official Social Media Correspondent for 'The Voice'. The following year it was announced that she had signed to Young Money through which she will now release her album.
Personal life: Christina Milian dated Nick Cannon from 2003 until 2005; the relationship ended when it arose that he had cheated on her. During that time, she was filming 'Pulse' in Romania where she also suffered from a string of racial abuse. In 2006, she dated Andre Lyon from Cool & Dre but they broke up in 2009 due to the long distance between them. In 2009, she began dating The-Dream. That same year saw them elope in Las Vegas and announce that they were expecting Milian's first child who was subsequently named Violet Madison Nash. However, the pair had separated by the end of 2009 and they were divorced in 2011.

Christina Millian got an E! reality show. Read all about that below.
So um... have you ever wanted to know really personal information about Christina Milian and/or watch her get her nipple pierced? If you answered yes – first of all, that’s super creepy – secondly, E!’s new “docu-soap” might be just your kind of entertainment.
Motherhood may have changed Christina Milian, but she still has her wild side.
Turned Up follows Christina Milian, 33, as she lives and works with three generations of her family: mother/manager Carmen, sisters Danielle and Liz, and her “crazy, funny, really sarcastic” almost 5-year-old daughter, Violet Madison, the apple of Milian’s eye, apparently.
[Spoiler Alert] This week's female eliminee was a shock exit for many.
As Dancing With The Stars entered its fifth week on Monday, it was time for the dancers to wave goodbye to one of their own. We were treated to a performance from R&B singer Aloe Blacc and the pro troupe which started the evening with a glamorous tone. However the tension was raised when host Tom Bergeron announced that "one of our female stars will be eliminated tonight."
Though She Was One Of This Week's Highest Scored Competitors, Christina Milian Was Kicked Off The Show.
The stars then entered into a week given the theme 'The Most Memorable Year' of their lives. Corbin Bleu's foxtrot remembered 2011; the year his sister was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. He earned some serious praise from the judges, earning a total score of 28 and particular warmth from Len Goodman who called the actor a "terrific dancer."

Following last night's edition of the show, we're still no closer to determining who will win the contest
Dancing With The Stars entered week five when it aired on Monday, 14 October, and almost immediately host Tom Bergeron put the pressure on at least half of the contestants as he revealed that "one of our female stars will be eliminated tonight" due to last weeks voting. The pressure was on the ladies to deliver, as the latest instalment saw the remaining celebs remember the 'The Most Memorable Year of Their Life,' and perform a dance routine that explains it best.
With Len Goodman back from London and in his judge's seat after a weeks absence, he, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli cast their critical eye over the remaining contestants danced to the sounds of 1982, all the way to the present day. And before we move on to the dances, now would be a good time to say that one of next season's contestants may have already revealed themselves. Paris Hilton was in the stands cheering on pal Christina Milian, and when asked whether she could give the show a go she said, I can dance, but I can't dance like her! I could try it out one time, maybe."
First up to bat was Corbin Bleu, whose years of choice was 2011. It was chosen as his 'most memorable year'because it was the year his younger sister, Phoenix, was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. The now-12-year-old still has to wear a back brace because of the condition and Bleu dedicated his foxtrot to the girl who is "such an inspiration" to himself. And what a start to get the show under way, as Bruno declared, "You could be the lost child of Fred Astaire and Ben Vereen," before showing him a 10. Len and Carrie gave out 9's each. A Great start to get the ball rolling.

'Dancing With the Stars' played host to a stage of screen sirens and even a pilot when the celebrity competitors performed on last night's show.
Dancing With the Stars held a Hollywood Night on yesterday's (30 Sept.) show. The celebrity competitors chose Charleston's, Quicksteps and Cha Chas, whilst their costumes were definitely some of the most imaginative we've seen this season.

Here's a few highlights before the latest celebrity to be eliminated is revealed:

She is determined that she will not attend the ceremony alone and will have, not only a boyfriend, but a long term partner by her side. With the help of her friends, the rest of the staff at the airport, she tracks down several ex-boyfriends on various international flights and manages to travel a massive 30,000 miles in her efforts to find the right man for her. There's Damon Diesel, who has hopeless dreams of becoming a superstar; Curtis, a pastor; Langston, a wealthy former lawyer; and a young millionaire named Quinton Jamison, but who will sweep her off her feet and fulfil her dreams of true romance and happiness?

It's a shame, too, because computer-centric horror is usually a good bet for ridiculousness. Here, the computer stuff isn't detailed enough to really bug the geeks; they'll be too busy pointing out how the movie's screenplay could be improved, and how Kristen Bell takes one of the most disappointing baths in horror history.

The premise: Tommy Lee Jones plays a Texas Ranger who goes undercover in a girls' sorority house to protect five cheerleaders who have witnessed a murder -- is about as bad a concept as has ever been approved by a studio (at least until the Deuce Bigalow sequel comes out). But a funny thing about this film (about the only funny thing) is that the actors seem to be enjoying themselves -- especially Jones, whose droll, dry persona makes this film, if not a hoot, at least not a total travesty.
