MAD MEN star Christina Hendricks is still smarting after losing a role in a Woody Allen movie - because the director branded her "too sweet".
The 34 year old found fame playing Joan Holloway in the TV drama series but insists being rejected by the filmmaker has been the biggest disappointment in her career thus far.
She tells Britain's Marie Claire, "It's always been a dream of mine to work with Woody Allen. I had an audition last year but didn't get the role, and it kind of hurt my heart. He said I was too sweet. I guess if you're not going to get something, that's a good reason, right?"
