Mad Men star Christina Hendricks has begun vocal training to perfect a London accent for an upcoming movie role.
The actress is determined to impress critics by mastering a Cockney brogue for her part in director Sally Potter's forthcoming film Bomb.
She tells Britain's Daily Telegraph, "It will only be my voice that changes. I have to play an East London girl so I have hooked up with a voice coach.
"You British always know when someone gets an accent wrong so I am determined to get it right."
Bomb, which will be filmed in London, tells the story of two teenagers who get caught up in the Ban The Bomb movement in the 1960s.
