Christina Hendricks has moved quickly to claim that a leaked nude photo, apparently of her, is actually a phony. However, in a statement that has left fans suspicious, Hendricks confirmed that her cell-phone had been hacked and numerous other photographs clearly featuring the Mad Men star are doing the rounds.
Currently circulating the web, the selection of pictures feature Hendricks wearing a pink basque, while another sees her seemingly with no make-up on, gazing down the camera lens. A third shot sees the American actress seductively posing in underwear, though Hendricks has denied that more explicit shots leaked in the same batch are of her. The photos sent the web into a frenzy on Monday (March 5, 2012), with users trying to determine the legitimacy of the shots. The UK's Sun newspaper said, "there is no denying that the other barely-dressed pics of Hendricks gazing into the camera are actually her own". The actress' representative confirmed to TMZ.com that her phone was hacked, but stressed that the nude photograph is fake. Christina says she had no idea who compromised her phone, but has alerted the proper authorities, with an investigation set to get underway shortly.
The Hollywood actress Olivia Munn appears to have also been a victim of phone hacking, with a series of equally revealing shots circulating the web. She too has denied that that the more explicit photographs are of her.
