Chris Noth, the American actor best known for playing heartthrob 'Mr Big' in HBO series 'Sex and the City', has married his long-time fiancee Tara Wilson. The couple have been engaged since 2009 and are already parents to 4-year-old son Orion Christopher.
According to People Magazine, Noth and Wilson tied the knot on the Hawaiian island of Maui on Friday (April 6, 2012). The actor, 58, met Wilson while she was working at his bar in New York City, the Cutting Room. Though known for his long-running television role as Detective Mike Logan on Law & Order, Noth rose to worldwide fame by playing the lothario Mr Big on the hugely successful Sex and the City series. His character was the primary love interest of Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw, and he played the role for six years, while also making appearances in the movie 'Cast Away' and on Broadway in 'The Best Man'. Noth currently stars in the CBS series The Good Wife, for which he was also nominated for a Golden Globe award.
Away from acting, Noth opened his aforementioned Cutting Room music venue in New York City in late 1999.
