Count Dracula seems to have really changed his ways, embracing humans and allowing them to stay at his monster-filled Hotel Transylvania after taking a shine to his daughter Mavis' new human boyfriend Johnny. Now the pair have a child together named Dennis, and despite having vampire in his blood, he doesn't seem to possess any monster ability of any kind. When Mavis and Johnny take a break to visit the latter's parents, she asks her dad to babysit her son - but that probably wasn't the best idea. In charge of young Dennis, Dracula enlists his friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to train him up to be a real monster, and take him on a trip of their own. But when Mavis finds out what they're up to, she's less than happy and makes to come home. But she's not the only one; Dracula's father Vlad is making a surprise visit, and he's not going to be happy that the hotel is filled with humans.

Following on from the adventures in the Hotel Transylvania, in which Count Dracula (Adam Sandler) was forced to hide a human from the clients of his "monsters only" hotel, things have gotten even stranger. Jonathan (Andy Samberg), the human traveller, and Mavis (Selena Gomez), Dracula's daughter, have fallen in love and had a baby. This new, half human half vampire baby, is accepted by the monsters inhabiting the hotel. But Dracula is not as impressed as he could be: he wants his grandson to take on the ways of a vampire like he did, and is willing to do whatever it takes to help him become a terrifying monster.

Here's the idea. The Lockni live on the land. The Nohrin live in the sky. When the latter's situation worsens, they attack the former. Eventually, an uneasy truce is reached, both sides trying to live together in harmony. This makes Sedessa (Anne Bancroft -- yes, the one who died 3 1/2 years ago), the sinister sister of King Zahn (Louis Gossett Jr.), very unhappy. She wants to wipe out the Lockni once and for all. With the help of Raius (Malcolm McDowell) a turncoat general, and an army of social outcasts, she plans on finishing what her brother will not do. In the meantime, teenage Lockni Delgo (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and his buddy Filo (Chris Kattan) become embroiled in a problematic political controversy. When they save Nohrin Princess Kyla (Jennifer Love Hewitt) from harm, they bring the rising tensions between the sides to a rolling, war-like boil.

The film stars Eddie Griffin as Undercover Brother, a modern day black man with a wild afro and everything a '70s man could want, including a solid gold caddy, platform shoes, and polyester bell-bottoms. Brother is recruited by the B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D. organization to help overpower the evil efforts of "The Man." The Man, along with henchmen "The Feather" (Chris Kattan) and "White She-Devil" (Denise Richards) are causing havoc with race relations between blacks and whites. In "Operation Whitewash," The Man has influenced black General Boutwell (Billy Dee Williams) to not run for President, but rather to open a chain of fast food chicken restaurants.

An "Austin Powers"-style blaxploitation spoof, "Undercover Brother" doesn't miss a single joke. Its title sequence alone -- a montage depicting the rise and fall of African-American culture (from Jesse Jackson and James Brown highs to Urkel and Dennis Rodman lows) -- is a laugh riot, in a sad-but-true kind of way.
So is the plot, about The Man, a megalomaniacal Caucasian corporate billionaire, trying to stop a Colin Powell-like black politician (Billy Dee Williams) from running for president ("He's so well-spoken," says a patronizing white news anchor). The Man has him kidnapped and brainwashed into opening a chain of fried chicken joints that will serve "nappy meals" instead. (Politically correct? What's that?)
There's only one man who can stop this evil plan: Undercover Brother, baby!
