Hemsworth thinks 'Home & Away' should have won.
Poor Tom Hiddleston. He landed his first award for 'The Night Manager' last night (September 5th 2016) at the TV Choice Awards, but he was immediately mocked for his win by his 'Thor' co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba as he delivered a message via video link.
Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth are total buddies
He's seen numerous nominations for his part in the BBC drama, including at the Emmys, but it's only now Tom Hiddleston has managed to scoop his first prize as Best Actor at the TV Choice Awards. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to attend the awards ceremony himself, given that he was down under filming 'Thor: Ragnorok', but he did rise in the early hours of the morning to deliver his acceptance speech.
'I'm so sorry I can't be there tonight, I'm sure you all look lovely', he said. 'I'm in Australia, I'm shooting 'Thor: Ragnorok', I don't really have anything to offer you.'
After that, he was joined by Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba, who proceeded to manhandle the award and tease their friend about his win. 'Oh, is that for us? For 'Home & Away', yeah?' Joked Chris. 'Thanks everyone at Channel 7, I loved working on 'Home & Away'.'
Idris was a little harsh, examining the trophy and saying: 'Oh man, that's really awful, isn't it? What's this for?' He went on to ask why his detective series 'Luther' didn't get nominated and gave a nod to Tom's co-star Hugh Laurie. 'Hugh - you were amazing in 'The Night Manager'', he said.
'Chris and Idris are super happy about it and so am I so thank you very much', Tom said in his attempt to continue. 'Loved being 'The Night Manager', loved making 'The Night Manager'.'

'Home & Away' rocks! And so does 'The Night Manager'', Chris said before disappearing out of the frame.
Tom beat 'Doctor Who' star Peter Capaldi, 'Downton Abbey''s Jim Carter and Cillian Murphy from 'Peaky Blinders' to the Best Actor prize, while Sarah Lancashire from 'Happy Valley' got Best Actress. 'The Night Manager' did, however, lose to 'Doctor Foster' in the Best New Drama category.

For the sequel to the 2012 fantasy action movie Snow White and the Huntsman, Chris Hemsworth found himself surrounded by powerful women.
Chris Hemsworth may have the title role, but The Huntsman: Winter's War centres on feisty divas played by Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain. "It's a prequel," Hemsworth explains. "It's the backstory my character in the first one was telling when he was talking to Snow White about his wife. It's filling in those blanks. But it's also where the Huntsman came from."
Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain play two of the other lead roles in the movie
And Blunt clarifies that the film is a "prequel that veers into a sequel". She also says that the three leading women were what drew her to the project. "Three very powerful female leads," she says. "And they're layered, nuanced, interesting characters. Women are proving time and time again that they can be a part of big-action blockbusters and fantasy films like this."

Erin Gilbert is a brilliant quantum physicist and holds a high ranking lecturing position at Columbia University, that is until a past novel she's written comes to light. The novel was written by Erin and her friend Abby and claims that ghosts are real. When strange occurrences start to happen in Manhattan, Erin and Abby are reunited in a bid to put a stop to the ghostly apparitions.
They set up a small business to help being who are being haunted by the ghosts, the old friends are joined by Jillian Holtzmann, a nuclear engineering mastermind who's just as geeky as the other two girls, the team then recruit Patty Tolan, a lady whose knowledge of New York and its underground is almost unrivalled.
Together the four women for The Ghostbusters.
With a huge budget and a relatively small story, this is an intriguingly offbeat blockbuster that might struggle to find an audience. Basically, it's aimed at fans of more thoughtful, personal stories of tenacity and survival, but it's shot with a massive special effects budget that sometimes seems to swamp the drama. Still, it's involving and moving. And it's also fascinatingly based on the true events that inspired Moby Dick.
The story is framed in 1850 as novelist Herman Melville (Ben Whishaw) visits an ageing sailor named Tom (Brendan Gleeson) to quiz him about a momentous event in his past that he has never spoken of. Flash back to 1820 Nantucket, and Tom (Tom Holland) is a rookie crew member on the whaling ship Essex, working under the posh, privileged Captain George (Benjamin Walker) and his able but low-class first mate Owen (Chris Hemsworth). As these these two leaders clash against each other, the ship sails off for what will be a very long journey. Eventually they head into the Pacific in search of a mythical pod of whales. But when they find it, they run afoul of a gigantic white whale that takes their arrival personally, sinking their ship and pursuing the survivors in their lifeboats.
All of this is staged as an epic battle between humanity and nature, with layers of interest in the way these men strain to survive against unimaginable odds. It's a riveting story, beautifully shot and rendered with immersive effects. And the cast members create complex characters who are profoundly changed by their experience. Not only is there mammoth action, but there's plenty of barbed interaction and even some strongly emotional moments that bring the themes home to a modern audience. Sometimes this aspect feels a bit corny, as clearly whalers at the time wouldn't feel remorse about killing one of these majestic creatures. But we would.

Will Smith is nowhere to be seen, Chris Hemsworth makes up for it.
It's been almost twenty years since Roland Emmerich's Oscar winning sci-fi thriller 'Independence Day', but if you thought the aliens were destroyed once and for all, think again. They're back with a vengeance in 'Independence Day: Resurgence', but even David Levinson wasn't prepared for this.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2’ is still at number one for a fourth week.
It’s only a week to go before Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theatres, so this weekend was the last chance that any new release had to make an impact in 2015. But sadly for Chris Hemsworth’s In The Heart Of The Sea audiences did not flock to see the whaling adventure, leaving it sinking at the US box.

"Very rarely do you read something and you are properly transported to another place," Hemsworth says. "It had that effect on me, and I kept thinking about it and the questions it raised and forces you to ask. It was also an opportunity to do something that's visually stunning on a big epic scale, but was a drama. That's a combination I hadn't seen a lot of, and I don't think has been made as much."

He won't be hitting the waves for a while now.
Chris Hemsworth has really not had such a great time filming his latest movie 'In The Heart Of The Sea'. As much as it must've been an epic film to shoot; lost at sea and playing a character that's slowly going out of his mind; it wasn't without it's gruelling compromises.
Chris Hemsworth looked a lot different before his weight loss
It's the story that inspired 'Moby Dick', and one that gets considerably more gruesome as it progresses. 'In The Heart Of The Sea' documents the adventures of the crew of Essex; a whaling ship that was sunk by a sperm whale in 1820 leaving the crew stranded in the middle of the sea. Hemsworth plays First Mate Owen Chase, but it seems that it's become his most challenging role so far giving that he had to lose weight for the role and faced very real dangers. Here's just five main reasons he's not doing a film like that again in a hurry:

'In The Heart Of The Sea' inspires Hemsworth's extreme weight loss.
It's not unusual for the most dedicated of actors to want to drop a couple of dress sizes for an upcoming movie role, but some stars take it to a whole new level when their character requires them to look, well, a little ill. Chris Hemsworth, best known for playing Norse God of Thunder Thor, is the latest to shock us with his brutal transformation.
Is anyone really surprised?

Also, guess which movie had the biggest opening. No, really. Guess. I’ll help you out. It was The Avengers, in 2012, with $207 million. That one went on to earn over $1,5 billion worldwide. The moral of the story is that Marvel wins yet again.

Charges of racism and sexism greet this year's Oscar nominations, just after Sunday's lively Golden Globes ceremony. Stars roll out for the Kingsman red carpet in London, and new trailers bow for the new Avengers adventure, Melissa McCarthy's Spy, Fifty Shades of Grey, Kevin Costner's Black or White and Jennifer Aniston's Cake..
Oscar nominations were announced on Thursday and brought the usual flood of reactions, mainly because of notable snubs. Voters opened themselves to charges of both racism and sexism by ignoring black actors and female writers and directors. The biggest outcry was for Selma, which received a Best Picture nomination but nothing for its acclaimed cast or director Ava DuVernay.
For the production of 'Blackhat', writer/director Michael Mann had to brush up on his knowledge of hacking in order to put together a film on the subject. Actor Chris Hemsworth had to undergo a master class on hacking and the use of computers. Mann also discusses how terrifying the idea of a cyber-criminal being able steal whatever they please from anywhere in the world at any time.
'Blackhat' follows the story of a hacker that can target anywhere in the world, stealing money and amassing wealth before causing a string of terrorist attacks upon the world. The US and China form a specialist taskforce to discover the identity of the hacker and find him before he is able to strike again. When they find themselves unable to trace the source, they turn to Nicholas Hathaway (Hemsworth), a convicted hacker serving jail time for hacking. If Hathaway is able to find and expose the mysterious hacker before it's too late, he will be free to live his life. 'Blackhat' is due to be released in the US on 16th January 2015, with a UK theatrical release following on 20th January in the same year.

Since August's San Diego Comic-Con, people have been looking forward to seeing the Avengers enjoy a little down-time in the teased party scene. In a new trailer for the film, we get to see just that.
People are excited about 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'. That's an understatement; the world couldn't be much more excited about the conclusion to the second phase of Marvel's Cinematic Universe. So much so, that within hours of announcing that Marvel would release the first trailer as part of their 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', the trailer was leaked. Marvel responded by just uploading the trailer early and blaming the leak on S.H.I.E.L.D. enemy, Hydra. Then, in order to fulfil the promise they made, a second trailer was created for 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'
Robert Downey Jr. stars once again
Consisting mainly of the first trailer, this new tease begins with the highly anticipated 'party scene' which was shown to people attending San Diego Comic-Con in August. The scene depicts the Avengers enjoying a beer or two in Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.)'s penthouse when Thor (Chris Hemsworth) thinks of the mother of all party games. Placing his hammer, Mjölnir, on the coffee table, Thor challenges each member to try and lift it.
The Avengers may be feeling like they are capable of anything after saving New York City from Loki's rampage and returning the deadly Tesseract to its rightful place in Asgard, but the group have a new threat to overcome. As the group; Tony Stark (Iron Man), Steve Rogers (Captain America), Bruce Banner (Hulk), Thor, Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) and Clint Barton (Hawkeye); attempt to enjoy an usually civilised evening together, they are interrupted by Ultron - a backfired project of Stark who is dead set on destroying the human race and branding them puppets in his game. With S.H.I.EL.D. destroyed, their chances of saving the world once again are looking dangerously slim. Now beginning to question just how much power they have, they are forced to regroup for a mission that could finally see their end.
The sequel to 'The Avengers' and final film in the second phase of Marvel's cinematic universe will see the release of its first trailer during an episode of Marvel's television show, 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'
Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' is currently flying through it second season, amassing between 4 and 5 million viewers per episode. That number is about to explode, however, with the recent announcement that the sixth episode, 'A Fractured House', will contain the first trailer for 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'. If that news wasn't enough, the announcement came via Marvel's official Twitter page, with an accompanying picture of some of the cast.
Not Thora, Thorita or She-Thor: the new Thor is female.
Marvel has caused waves within the comic book communities after revealing their dynamic new incarnation of Thor, who just happens to be a woman. Retaining the Norse god's punchy moniker, the new Thor will be a no-half-measures superhero and a permanent replacement as the one and only hammer-wielder.
"[T]his new Thor isn't a temporary female substitute - she's now the one and only Thor, and she is worthy" said editor Wil Moss. The new comic written by Jason Aaron, with art by Russell Dauterman will launch this fall, after we discover that the original God of Thunder loses the ability to wield his signature weapon, Mjölnir.
"This is not She-Thor. This is not Lady Thor. This is not Thorita. This is Thor. This is the Thor of the Marvel Universe. But it's unlike any Thor we've ever seen before," explained Aaron.

Who deserves to win one of the slightly more humorous movie awards?
The MTV Movie Award nominations have been announced and you know what? It’s so refreshing to see some different movies thrown into the mix! The MTV Movie Awards don’t take themselves quite as seriously as the Academy Awards or the BAFTAS, taking pop culture into account just as much as a good performance. The main movies that we’ve come to be acquainted with over awards season are still up for nomination, but which of these nominees do you think deserve a chance to take home one of the sillier (for lack of a better word) awards?

A top weekend for Katniss and her Hunger Games, but Vince Vaughn needs to go back to the drawing board.

Jennifer Lawrence in Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Catching Fire, which has already hit the U.K with great success, and received unanimous praise from the critics, managed to accumulate $161.1 million over the weekend, topping the charts by a huge distance. The competition, however, wasn’t exactly fierce. Thor: The Dark World provided the sternest test, but still managed to pull in 10x less than Katniss with $14 million.

Thor 2 continues to reign supreme, but its run appears to be coming to an end.
Thor 2 continued to dominate the weekend box office this week, because of course it did. But this week, its lead was noticeably slipping and the top story is instead the release of Malcolm Lee’s The Best Man Holiday, which nearly toppled the Marvel production this weekend. Nearly, but not close enough.
He's the god of thunder, what do you expect?
Thor: The Dark World added another $38.6 million domestically to a total of $147 million over a ten-day period. These are just the domestic earnings as well, with MTV News placing The Dark World’s worldwide profits at $479.7 since its release. These are great takings for Marvel, although not nearly as impressive as Iron Man 3’s $1.2 billion earlier this year.
The equation is simple: If the movie makes money, then make another one, quickly
The Norse God’s second outing in Thor 2: The Dark World yielded even more than its predecessor, setting November records for Marvel, and, judging by the figures, putting itself in a good position to enter the $1b (worldwide) club.
Chris Hemsworth as Thor In The Dark World
The Marvel sequel took $38.4 this weekend, pushing its domestic total up to $147m in two weeks. Worldwide, it has $479.8m, which is $30m more than Thor back in 2011. And while it couldn’t outgun Iron Man 3 – not many films can – it did enjoy a smaller drop percentage of 55% to Stark’s 58%.
Ron Howard's Formula 1 movie has impressed critics, but is the show's drama fictional?
Racing movie Rush has premiered in the US and UK and has drawn the crowds, rising to the top of the week's box office charts in the UK and garnering positive critical attention. Though the movie focusses on the famous rivalry between 1970s Formula 1 Racing drivers - Britain's James Hunt and Austria's Niki Lauda - the storyline has been praised for rendering its mechanical detail and sporting emotions accessible to those who have little to no interest in racing.
The Movie Centres On The Rivalry Between James Hunt & Niki Lauda.
The movie excels in its building of the tension between the two drivers, played by Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl, as well as the high level of drama built up around what has been described as the golden era of racing. The drama of the sport is even emphasised in the trailer, where Brühl as Lauda declares "I accept every time I get in my car there's 20% chance I could die."
Ron Howard's movie performed strongly in the UK - but what about the U.S.?
Following the disappointment of The Dilemma, there was little fanfare for Ron Howard's latest movie: a biographical flick about the rivalry between Formula One drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauder during the 1976 motor racing season.
Set against the backdrop of the golden age of the sport, though also one of its most dangerous periods, Rush tells the tale of the handsome English playboy Hunt (played by Chris Hemsworth) and his methodical, relentlessly driven opponent Lauda (played by the outstanding Daniel Bruhl).

Will early scepticism mar the movie's US release?
Ron Howard took a risk when he decided to make Rush: what qualified the US director with no interest in European Formula One racing to turn the legend of the most heated racing driver rivalry of all time into a movie?
Chris Hemsworth Plays Racing Star & Party Boy, James Hunt.
Howard has admitted he knew nothing about the Hunt/Lauda rivalry of the seventies until he was handed a script by Frost/Nixon writer, Peter Morgan. Morgan's skilful screenwriting wouldn't have been enough to carry the movie on its own though; Rush needed a passionate force in the driving seat. Howard explained to the Wall Street Journal about the spark he saw in the real-life story, and how he planned to turn it into a movie that film fans aside from gearheads could relate to.
Continue reading: Will Ron Howard's 'Rush' Stall At The US Box Office? [Trailer]
Exhilarating racing action punctuates this true story, which sharply traces the rivalry between two Formula One champs. It's superbly well-shot and edited, with engaging performances from the entire cast. And with only one moment of calculated sentimentality, it's director Ron Howard's most honest movie in years.
The story begins in the early 1970s, when two rising-star F1 drivers clash over their very different styles. Britain's James Hunt (Hemsworth) is a swaggering womaniser, revelling in the rock-star lifestyle. By contrast, Austria's Niki Lauda (Bruhl) is a fiercely detailed technician who loves pushing barriers. They clearly see things they like in each other, so their different approaches on the track develop into a competitive relationship that spurs them to the front of the pack. Over the years, both meet their wives (Wilde and Lara, respectively) and move from team to team as they rise to the top of their sport. And their rivalry comes to a head at the 1976 German Grand Prix when world champion Lauda is involved in a horrific, fiery accident.
Morgan's script is essentially two biopics cleverly woven together to let us see the push and pull between these two iconic figures. Unexpectedly, Bruhl's Lauda emerges as the stronger character, with his grounded approach and sardonic wit allowing Bruhl to play effectively with submerged emotions. By contrast, Hemsworth's Hunt is little more than a gifted good-time boy who isn't worried about his lack of substance. It's a likeable, loose performance (we barely notice the wobbly British accent). Opposite them Lara and Wilde provide solid, subtle support, as do the fine actors who fill out the pit crews.

James Spader has been cast as Ultron the robot.
In Marvel lore, according to Entertainment Weekly, Ultron is a robot intent on acquiring power. His qualities include super-strength, mind control, genius intellect and a coma ray. Considering he has these qualities and happens to be a robot may make this a difficult role to play for Spader. It has not been announced if Spader will be providing the voice or playing the role with the help of motion capture.

Whedon, speaking to the entertainment website, said "I knew right away what I wanted to do with him, he's always trying to destroy the Avengers, goddamn it, he's got a bee in his bonnet. He's not a happy guy, which means he's an interesting guy. He's got pain. And the way that manifests is not going to be standard robot stuff. So we'll take away some of those powers because at some point everybody becomes magic, and I already have someone [Scarlet Witch, a new character] who's a witch."

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly called time on their relationship. No really.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split, just weeks after the actor's brothers Chris Hemsworth and Luke Hemsworth staged an intervention with their young sibling, raising concerns about his engagement to the pop singer. Now, according to multiple sources who spoke with Us Weekly, the pair have ended their relationship and will no longer be tying the knot.
"They are definitely over," one insider close to the ex-lovebirds reveals this week. The pair met on the set of romantic drama The Last Song in 2009 and got engaged last summer when Hemsworth pulled out a 3.5-carat diamond ring for his wife to be. The split comes after months of tension between the pair, which culminated with Liam being spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont with Mad Men actress January Jones following a pre-Oscar party on February 23, 2013. Prior to that, the Hunger Games actor had regrouped with his family in Australia while rumors of a split swirled in Los Angeles.
Despite the reports, Miley, 20, shared a picture of herself on Twitter wearing what appears to be a wedding dress. The picture was taken the same day that she shot her new video - according to The Sun - therefore it could be for a wedding scene and not her actual dress.

The trailer for Thor: The Dark World has finally arrived, and it looks pretty impressive.
Thor has had a pretty rough couple of years, what with battling his adoptive brother Loki and other enemies in The Avengers, but he's dusted himself down and is back for more. In Thor: The Dark World, the hammer wielding hero returns to Earth to reunite with his beloved Jane Foster, played here by Natalie Portman, and whisks her back to his home in Asgard.
Watch the Thor: The Dark World trailer here!
Of course, living happily ever after would be too easy (and a little boring) and Thor unfortunately brings Jane back to terrible danger. A dark race led by the ruthless Malekith plans to plunge the entire universe into oblivion, leaving Thor to confront his imprisoned brother for help. The new movie is the sequel to Kenneth Branagh's 2011 movie and is set some time after Joss Whedon's The Avengers. Based on the comic books of Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby, Thor 2 is helmed by a new director in Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones, Mad Men) though is penne d by returning screenwriter Don Payne (Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer) alongside Christopher Yost (The Avengers) and Stephen McFeely (The Chronicles of Narnia).
Following the dramatic events of 'Thor' and 'The Avengers' which saw Thor battling not only his double-crossing adoptive brother Loki but a series of other nemeses, the hammer wielding hero returns to Earth to reunite with his beloved Jane Foster and whisk her away to his home in Asgard. Unfortunately, he ends up bringing her towards terrible danger that he himself could not fathom. A dark race that predates even the oldest corners of the universe; a race of elves led by the ruthless Malekith who plans to plunge the entire universe back into oblivion in a vengeful pursuit that will destroy everything that Thor and Odin have fought to protect. In desperation, Thor confronts his imprisoned brother and asks for help in exchange for his freedom with the promise that he will destroy Loki if he dares betray him again. Can Thor and the rest of Asgard defeat the latest dark force that threatens them? Or will such a primitive power prove impossible to overcome?
Here is the new sequel to Kenneth Branagh's 2011 movie 'Thor' that is set some time after the events of Joss Whedon's 'The Avengers'. 'Thor: The Dark World' is based on the comic books by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby and sees a new director, Alan Taylor ('Game Of Thrones', 'Mad Men', 'The Emperor's New Clothes'), with the return of screenwriter Don Payne ('Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer') alongside Christopher Yost ('The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes') and Stephen McFeely ('The Chronicles of Narnia', 'Captain America: The First Avenger'). It is set to hit the UK on October 30th 2013.
Images also released from filming of much-anticipated Marvel follow-up
A new poster and details about the forthcoming Thor film starring Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman have emerged, with Thor battling once again to save Earth and all of the Nine Realms from an enemy that’s existed since before the universe itself. Sounds like a pretty task to us that.
According to a statement released by the film’s studio Marvel “In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.”
Sounds suitably epic to us. You can have a look at Chris Hemsworth looking suitably epic and that with his hammer below on the poster. Elsewhere, the Metro have reported that two new contrasting images from filming have been made public, with one showing Thor having a good old chuckle with Natalie Portman’s Jane as they both stand in costume. Another shows Hemsworth once again looking moody while holding his hammer. What can we devise from this? That Thor is a light-hearted amiable chap who takes home DIY very seriously indeed, we reckon.

Ron Howard's latest assault on the mainstream movie world is a biography of James Hunt and Niki Lauda.
Chris Hemsworth As James Hunt and Daniel Brühl as Niki Lauda in Rush
Following the relatively disappointing 'The Dilemma', Oscar wining director Ron Howard is back with his latest movie 'Rush', an biographical flick about the rivalry between Formula One drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauder during the 1976 motor racing season. Set against the backdrop of the 'golden age' of the sport, the story certainly lends itself well to the big screen, with the handsome English playboy Hunt attempting to outdo his methodical, driven opponent Lauda. Off course, there's focus on the driver's personal lives though ultimately Howard's latest movie explores how far each sportsman will push to be hailed world champion in a sport where one mistake could be fatal.
The movie boasts a pretty slick looking cast, with Hollywood favourites Chris Hemsworth (Hunt) and Olivia Wilde (Suzy Miller) in the forefront and the brilliant Daniel Bruhl playing Lauda. The movie was shot on location in the UK, Germany and Austria with some scenes filmed at the former World War II airfield of Blackbushe Airport in Hampshire. Kent racing track Brands Hatch also features, as does Nurburgring in Germany. Howard described the period as a "fascinating, sexy, dangerous time," telling Colldier.com, ".it's based on a true story and it's centered around the 1976 Formula One race season. It operates on so many different levels that I really need to use the medium, in pre-production, production and post-production, to try to immerse the audiences in that world, "adding, "So, while Peter Morgan has written the script, and it's emotional, funny and character-driven, first and foremost, I think that the sense of the time, the place, the world, the speed and the danger of it."
James Hunt is English Formula 1 champion well-known for his hedonistic life of women, alcohol and parties and who makes for a stark contrast to his number one rival, the Austrian Niki Lauda. It's the 70s, the golden age for racing, and the pair are riled up to outrun each other in the upcoming 1976 German Grand Prix. However, no-one could predict the tragedy that would soon ensue when Lauda's car fails and bursts into flames on the track, causing him severe burns to his face and body. Hunt blames himself for the accident, as he helped encourage the race to go ahead without the suggested safety arrangements. In spite of all this, the pair are determined to become champions, against all odds but as the professional lives interrupts their personal lives, becoming a champion becomes much more complicated than just winning a race.
'Rush' is a sports drama based on the shocking true story of these two real F1 drivers when their lives took a dramatic turn at the height of car racing. It has been directed by Ron Howard ('Willow', 'Apollo 13', 'The Da Vinci Code') and written by Peter Morgan ('The Queen', 'The Other Boleyn Girl', 'The Last King of Scotland'), and it is set for release this autumn on September 13th 2013.
Miley Cyrus is thought to have split from her fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Rumors that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split are reaching fever pitch, with most appearing to accept that - although the pair are regular tabloid fodder - the recent spate of speculation is too intense to be mere conjecture. Multiple sources told the New York Post's Page Six that Cyrus and Hemsworth have decided to end their relationship. "Miley and Liam are done; it's over," one insider said, "She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him."
That appears to be at odds with stories circulating last week, which suggested Hemsworth partied with Mad Men actress January Jones after the Oscars, while Miley was...well, nowhere to be seen. "They have broken up before, and are broken up again now. There was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye. And she recently tweeted a denial that he cheated," another source told Page Six. "While Miley has insisted they are still together, right now they are very, very much apart." It's true that Cyrus tweeted her wedding was still on, though her recent posts have been cryptic and it appears strange that the outspoken actress is yet to shoot down the latest rumors.
Cyrus is still in Los Angeles, though Hemsworth is on the other side of the world, visiting brother Chris Hemsworth and sister-in-law Elsa Pataky, according to Us Weekly. Why hasn't Miley travelled too? "It doesn't mean that they have split. Miley says they are still together," a source said. "Liam did fly home [to Australia on March 1] so they could have a break."

Before 50 Shades of Grey had even been commissioned for the big screen, fans of the book were discussing who they'd want to see play Christian Grey, one of the two central characters of the book. Having become one of the most read books of the decade, it is quickly becoming one of the most talked about films and more and more rumours keep finding their way into the mill. The latest two to hit are about Chris Hemsworth and Krysten Ritter.
According to the International Business Times, the race is now between the star of Thor, Hemsworth, and Stephen Amell from Arrow. Apparently, Hemsworth's foray in upcoming movie Rush, in which he has a number of nude scenes, has persuaded the 50 Shades producers that he'd be ideal. Having been questioned about it though, it appears he remains unsure and unenthused at the prospect.
In contrast however, Krysten Ritter from Breaking Bad has expressed her interest in the project via Twitter. In a retweet and reply to a twitter user she said she's be 'down for' playing Ana.
