Due to their hefty budget requirements, independent action films don't come along very often. Forgive Me Father is a daring exception to the rule, an unabashed Steven Seagal movie... only without Steven Seagal.

Ivan Rogers directs himself in the lead role of Virgil Garrett, a Catholic priest with a mysterious past. As it turns out, that past is one of a gangster's hit man, and when Virgil's innocent brother is gunner down for no reason at all, Virgil decides to hang up his white collar and pick up a pistol to hunt down his killers -- spouting scripture and busting caps!
