Chris Cornell has set the release date for his forthcoming solo album SCREAM.
According to The Pulse of Radio, the former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman will release the record on October 14th.
The new album has been produced by the mush-sought after urban producer Timbaland which has raised a few eyebrows among fans of Cornell's earlier work.
"A lot of people were concerned about, like, am I gonna do what, for example, Timbaland tells me to do, if he wants to tell me to do something, that kind of thing," he said
"We didn't really have that relationship, it wasn't that type of a process. It was more, he would bring in a beat, an idea, I would write to it and sing it, and we would move on kind of to the next thing."
TIMBALAND is not usually associated with rock artists, having previously produced albums for the likes of Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Ashlee Simpson.
