Fact: The X-FILES creator Chris Carter has been dealt a blow after bosses at digital platform Amazon Studios decided against moving forward with his new supernatural drama series The After. The show had been optioned last March (14), but Amazon executives recently rescinded their series order, leaving Carter to find a new home for the project.
