Taio Cruz says he would still like to work with Chris Brown despite the fact he was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year.
The 'Break Your Heart' singer - who submitted songs for Chris' upcoming album - doesn't condone any kind of violence but believes Chris is still an "amazing artist" who deserves a second chance.
The 24-year-old musician said: "I don't condone what he did. I was disgusted by it. I'm sure most of his fan base are women who will have turned their back on him - and rightly so - but I don't know.
"He's still an amazing musician and really talented. Everyone makes mistakes and as long as he's learnt from it, in terms of music, I'm definitely down for writing music for people."
Chris attacked Rihanna in February after leaving a pre-Grammy Awards party. He was sentenced to 180 days of community labour, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and five years probation.
Chris made a public apology in July this year and said he was "very sad and very ashamed" by his actions.
