Chris Brown wowed the audience on 'Dancing With The Stars' last night (29.03.11) despite protests about him appearing on the show.

The singer - who is under fire for allegedly losing his temper and smashing a dressing room window after being asked about his ex-girlfriend Rihanna on 'Good Morning America' - took to the stage to perform his hit 'Yeah3x' as well as a medley of 'Forever' and 'Beautiful People'.

His recent promotional campaign for his new album 'F.A.M.E' has been overshadowed by his five-year probation for assaulting Rihanna in February 2009.

The ABC show's dancers and contestants had their own views on the rapper's appearance, with Cheryl Burke saying she'd rather he wasn't there because of his past.

She admitted to Extra: "As a victim of domestic violence, I don't agree with him coming on the show, but it's out of my control."

However, daytime talk show host Wendy Williams seemed excited by all the drama, saying: "I can't wait, I can't wait! What's gonna happen?"
