Chloe Moretz is taking a stance on bullies who targetted her brothers
The topic Moretz has reluctantly had to engage with is usually handled by adults beyond her years, but the young teen has chosen to ignore it no more. The actress tells the magazine about her brothers' sexuality and how close she is with the both of them, "I have two gay brothers and two straight brothers, and my gay brothers were treated horrifically until they grew up and understood how to deal with it". She then personally addresses the bullies, "I will delete you and I will block you, and you will not be a part of my life if you ever say anything bad about my brothers".
The menacing message demonstrates how close Moretz is to her family, and even though she has been an actress since the little old age of 7, her family still keep her feet to the ground.
"Never choose your friends over your family or a boyfriend or girlfriend over the family," she exclaims. "My mom has always taught us that blood is thicker than water. No one will ever understand the dynamic of your family. Ever. We are the closest family ever and we are the most insane family ever".
Chloe said she has her brothers to thank for preparing her for physical roles like 'Hit girl' in Kick-Ass
The 'Carrie' star has conveyed a very important message to the younger generation everywhere, bullying is wrong and shouldn't be endured by anyone. It's an admirable effort to expose bullying, an issue very personal to her family, but maybe she will have inspired others to do the same.
Moretz is the star of new horror film 'Carrie', a remake of the 1976 classic which hits theatres on October 18th 2013.
