Chipmunk (born Jahmaal Noel Ffyfe, 26.11.1990)
Chipmunk is an English rapper, and was given his stage name by a friend, as a comment on his front teeth. Originally, it was just a nickname but Jahmaal adopted it for his music career when the friend that gave him the nickname was killed. He also sometimes uses the name Mr. Munk.

Chipmunk is signed to Columbia Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music UK.

At the 2008 MOBO Awards, Chipmunk landed the 'Best UK Newcomer' award and also won Best Hip-Hop Act at the same awards the following year. It was at these 2009 awards that he beat international start such as Jay-Z, Eminem and Kanye West to the title.

Chipmunk's biggest single to date, 'Until You Were Gone', featuring Esmee Denters, was released in 2010 and helped boost Chipmunk's public profile. Chipmunk's album I am Chipmunk was released in May 2010. The album featured performances from the likes of Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz and Loick Essien.

Chipmunk has also contributed to a lot of recordings for other artists since 2007. In 2007, he appeared on Wiley's 'No Qualms' EP, released on Big Dada Recordings.
