Cheryl Fernandez-Versini admits her style has changed dramatically over the last decade.
The 31-year-old - who recently wed French restaurant owner Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini - has been in the spotlight ever since she joined Girls Aloud in 2002, and says her maturity is reflected in a more refined attitude towards fashion.
She said: ''I look totally different now to how I looked when I was 20 and that's a good thing! My style is constantly evolving - I've learnt what works for me the hard way though, by seeing all the ticks and crosses over the years and people saying, 'What the hell was she thinking?'''
Cheryl also revealed the identity of her favourite designer, saying: ''If I could wear one designer for the rest of my life it would be Alexander McQueen.
''I love clothes, and I find that wearing designer pieces really makes me feel good as a woman.''
Despite this, the 'Crazy Stupid Love' star admits that she does most of her shopping over the internet, rather than face the stresses of visiting stores.
She said: ''I do most of my clothes shopping online these days. I can't bear shopping - there's something about the changing rooms with bad lighting and mirrors - I find it all really stressful.''
