Cheryl Cole's second studio album has been scheduled for release in October, after the next Girls Aloud record was pushed back until 2011.
Cheryl Cole's second album is due for release in October.
The 'Fight For This Love' hitmaker - who released her debut solo album '3 Words' in October 2009 - had reportedly not planned on releasing another record in 2010, but after hearing the next Girls Aloud album was to be put back to next year, she changed her mind.
According to one insider, the brunette beauty's new effort will have the same pop vibe as '3 Words'.
The source revealed to Heat magazine: "It won't be radically different from '3 Words', but it might be a bit more of a pop record. This album will make her a really big pop star."
Appearing on the new album will be collaborations with upcoming singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding and 'Break Your Heart' chart-topper Taio Cruz, as well as Will.i.am, who previously featured on tracks on her first album.
Cheryl will debut the first tune from the new album on reality television show 'The X Factor', as she did with number one smash hit 'Fight For This Love' last year.
