Cheryl Cole is planning to return to Afghanistan to visit the soldier she met on her previous trip to the war torn country.
The pop beauty swapped numbers with hunky Royal Marine Andy Baker - known as Bagsy - when she travelled to The Middle East on a morale boosting tour for British troops in September and is now so desperate to see him again, she is considering a return to Afghanistan.
Cheryl told the Daily Star newspaper: "Yes of course. I haven't set a date yet but I will definitely be going back out to Afghanistan to see Andy."
After meeting Andy, a smitten Cheryl revealed she was hoping to arrange a date as soon as possible.
She said: "Not only are The Soldiers incredibly brave, a few of them were also incredibly cute.
"I actually came back with a phone number from one lad...although I think his talking to me was a dare. He started chatting to me after I'd been shot at during a training exercise.
"Obviously it wasn't real ammunition but it was still terrifying. Anyway I think I am going to call him this week and we'll see what happens. I'm sure he's not expecting me to ring but that's why it'll be funny and that's why I'm going to do it."
