Singing legend Cher has criticised the U.S. government over environmental policies, insisting more could be done to advise Americans on how to go green.
The Believe hitmaker is taking steps to make her life more environmentally friendly, even looking into buying an electric car.
But she's unimpressed with hybrid vehicles, branding them "bulls**t", and she wants politicians to do more to guide Americans on how to help maintain the planet.
She tells Fox News, "I researched all the hybrid stuff and its pretty much all bulls**t.
"I think people would do a lot more if the government put out a list, saying 'This could do this' etc. The government isn't very helpful. People are willing to do all they could if they just knew what to do."
However, Cher is conserving energy in her home, adding, "I turn off the lights, we don't use plastic bags. We're probably not doing enough, but we started changing the bulbs to those curly bulbs."
