Music mogul L.A. Reid has tipped British singer/rapper Cher Lloyd for worldwide stardom after signing her to his record label.
The executive has inked a deal taking Lloyd to his company Epic Records, a year after she joined Jay Z's management firm Roc Nation.
Lloyd, who finished fourth on Britain's The X Factor last year (10), topped the U.K. charts in August (11) with her debut single Swagger Jagger - and now Reid has predicted she has the talent to conquer the world.
He says, "Cher is going to be a massive star in America. I'm going on record to say Cher Lloyd, watch out."
Lloyd is convinced her outspoken attitude and cheeky sense of humour is the reason Reid has signed her, adding, "He finds me quite funny. He said I am very outgoing and I say what I want and he likes that."
