The duo to release 'Born In The Echoes' this Summer.
The Chemical Brothers are set to return with an all new studio album this Summer, 'Born In The Echoes', featuring eleven tracks of captivating electronica and a host of impressive collaborators. They also unveil the stunning first track 'Sometimes I Feel So Deserted'.
The Chemical Brothers are back! With some special guests...
The electronic pioneers bring back their brand of mind-bending musicianship, five years since the release of their last record 'Further'. While there was no sign of any musical guests on that album, 'Born In The Echoes' changes all that by introducing a host of new and old collaborators. Q-Tip, who last appeared on 2005's 'Push the Button', will feature on track two 'Go', and Ali Love will return for 'EML Ritual'. Meanwhile, they have also taken on board the talents of St. Vincent for 'Under Neon Lights', Cate Le Bon on the title track and Grammy winning Beck on 'Wide Open'.
While the duo, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, haven't released an album for five years, it doesn't mean they haven't been busy. An alternate version of their song 'Don't Think' featured in 'Black Swan' in 2010, and they then went on to compose the soundtrack to 2011 action thriller 'Hanna' starring Saoirse Ronan. They were later to be joined by Lorde and Miguel for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' soundtrack song 'This Is Not A Game'.
2012 saw them unveil their stunning first live album (which they named 'Don't Think') and get involved with the London Olympic Games at which they premiered a unique soundtrack for the Velodrome. More recently, the duo landed a well-deserved Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection.
The Chemical Brothers will be making some very special live appearances on their European tour this Summer, headlining Glastonbury, Barcelona's Sonar festival as well as Bestival. For those that can't wait for more Chemical Brothers action, you can receive an instant download of epic lead single 'Sometimes I Feel So Deserted' if you pre-order the new album.
'Born In The Echoes' will be released worldwide on July 17th 2015 through Virgin EMI Records.
