Chaz Bono, the only son of Sonny and Cher will participate on the upcoming 13th season of ABC's hit show Dancing With The Stars.
Chaz Bono an advocate of LGBT rights will be dancing with a female partner and will be competing against a host of celebrities including legal commentator Nancy Grace, actor David Arquette, former talk show host Ricki Lake, ROB KARDASHIAN (younger brother of Kim Kardashian) as well as NBA star Ron Artest and Italian TV host Elisabetta Canalis, best known for being the ex-girlfriend of George Clooney. David Arquette is one celebrity who is particularly looking forward to the contest, speaking to the Washington Post he said "I'm really looking for positive things in my life, and dancing makes me happy, It helps ground me and provides grace in my life and those are all the things I'm looking for." Chaz Bono has himself described the experience of appearing on the show as "daunting" and will be hoping he is not the first to be voted off on September 20th.
Bono is a California native and has been involved in showbiz since a very early age appearing on his parents TV show, the well known pop duo of Sonny & Cher. His mother is also one of the top entertainment personalities in the world winning an OSCAR, Grammy, EMMY as well as three GOLDEN GLOBES.
