Charlie Sheen has shown off his generous side by donating $10,000 (£6,667) to a charity supporting epilepsy patients.

The actor was reportedly on the set of his hit U.S. Tv show Anger Management when posters seeking donations for The Walk To End Epilepsy charity caught his eye.

The poster included a picture of a young boy called Dylan, who was diagnosed with pediatric epilepsy when he was three, and the moving story persuaded Sheen to dig deep into his pockets to donate $10,000 (£6,667) to the foundation.
