Electronic Music Pioneer Charles Cohen Has Been Arrested For Allegedly Attempting To Solicit Sex From A Minor.
Officials at the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office in Pennsylvania have confirmed that Cohen was arrested on 28 September (15).
He was detained in Philadelphia during a sting operation, the city's newspaper Times Herald reports.
Cohen had allegedly been communicating online with an undercover police officer who was posing as a 14-year-old boy, and he has been charged with the criminal attempt of involuntary sexual intercourse with a child under 16, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility.
Cohen is being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, and is due in court on 13 October (15). His bail has been set at $100,000 (£62,500).
He was due to perform at Unsound Festival in Poland next week (beg12Oct15).
