Channing Tatum's career is being ''swayed'' by his daughter.

The 'Magic Mike XXL' actor - who has two-year-old Everly with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum - has suggested his forthcoming projects will be more family-friendly thanks to the influence of his little girl.

He said: ''I think things in life definitely persuade you. You know, things that you're doing inspire you creatively.

''Having a child changes you and I can feel the sway that it's had on the other creative things I've got in the pipeline.''

And Channing, 35, insists he and his 36-year-old wife won't be putting any pressure on Everly to follow in their footsteps because he thinks it is important she has her own ambitions.

He told Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''Kids have to do what they want to do, not what parents want them to do.

''They shouldn't just do it because their parents did it.

''Or they should not want to do it because their parents want to do it.

''They should really go and just try to explore it.''
