TV presenters Richard and Judy could bring an end to their daytime television partnership to pursue solo projects.
Richard Madeley told Radio 4's Desert Island Discs show, that they felt they had achieved all they could as a chat show pair and wanted to consider other projects.
Madeley said: "I think we both feel we have done pretty much all we can do as a partnership in terms of the talk shows, but I think probably we both feel the need to diversify.
"It has been over 20 years doing the same kind of thing and there are tantalising possibilities in terms of solo projects or doing one-off projects together," he added.
"I am not saying we will never work together again - I'm sure we will."
The couple, who shifted from Channel 4 to new digital channel Watch, have seen their ratings plummet since the move.
Madeley said the pair were expecting viewing figures after the switch to be lower but were disappointed that the channel was not catching on with audiences.
The couple are contracted to present the show until Christmas this year.
