Fact: Chance the Rapper, Skepta and The Weeknd are set to headline London's Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park between 7 and 9 July (17). Other performers on the bill include Nas, Rae Sremmurd, Sean Paul, Tyga, and Ty Dolla $ign.


11th January 2017

Fact: U2, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper and The Weeknd are set to headline the 2017 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Lorde, the xx, Travis Scott and Major Lazer are also due to perform. The event runs from 8 to 11 June (17).


5th January 2017

Fact: Chance the Rapper has confirmed he will attend U.S. President Barack Obama's farewell party on Friday (06Jan16). Beyonce, Jay Z, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder are also reported to be invited to the event, at which Obama will host his biggest supporters ahead of the end of his two terms as America's leader on 20 January (17).

Fact: Chance the Rapper and rockers Tool and Phoenix are set to headline the 2017 Governors Ball festival between 2 to 4 June (17) on Randall's Island Park in New York City. Other performers include Childish Gambino, Lorde, Flume, Wu-Tang Clan, Wiz Khalifa and Rae Sremmurd.

Fact: Chance the Rapper helped his hometown baseball team the Chicago White Sox mark its first home game of the season on Friday (08Apr16) by throwing out the first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field. The hip-hop star took the mound wearing a new White Sox cap he helped design for New Era as he successfully pitched in the snow, and celebrated with a little dance. However, his presence didn't bring much luck to his beloved athletes - they lost 7-1 to the Cleveland Indians.


2nd July 2015

Fact: Hip-hop star Chance the Rapper is set to make his feature film acting debut in upcoming murder-mystery SLICE. The rapper will portray a former food delivery man-turned-werewolf in the movie, based on a George Saunders story. Slice will also serve as director Austin Vesely first feature-length project. Chance the Rapper previously worked with Vesely on his music promo for Sunday Candy.

Fact: Alec Baldwin showed off his rap skills as he laid down some rhymes to the beatboxing of Chance the Rapper. The Mc posted a video on his Instagram account showing the former 30 Rock star reciting lines from Carl Sandburg's poem Chicago. The two stars were both on hand for a charity event in Illinois over the weekend (28Feb15-01Mar15) to help raise money for arts organisation Young Chicago Authors.
