Welsh rocker Cerys Matthews can add author to her resume - she has written a book of stories for children.
The former Catatonia frontwoman is set to release her first tome, titled Tales from the Deep, which contains two kids' stories based on Welsh folklore.
She tells Britain's Telegraph magazine, "I've always written stories and in May I have my own children's book coming out, Tales From The Deep. It is two stories based on the ancient Welsh legends Cantre'r Gwaelod and the Maid of Llyn y Fan, which I read as a child."
