'The Lord of the Rings' star Sean Astin poses with former American football player and motivational speaker Rudy Ruettiger on the red carpet at the 20th Anniversary celebrations of sports biopic movie 'Rudy' held at Brenden Theatres at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The movie premiered in 1993 and starred Sean as Rudy. The football star, whose real name is Daniel, struggled with academic life with his low grades, being not particularly athletic and a little too short to play football. However, through hard work and determination, he became an inspiration when he was accepted into the University of Notre Dame.
