The Kenyan actress appeared in DuJour magazine's winter 2013 issue after she garnered much attention as the long-suffering slave Patsey in Steve McQueen's multiple award winning biography drama '12 Years A Slave'. The movie marks Lupita's debut into film acting and has seen her win 25 awards so far with many additional nods, including an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
