'Dawson's Creek' actress Katie Holmes hardly acknowledges the group of photographers who congratulate her on her clothing line as she leaves the Spring/ Summer 2013 Holmes & Yang fashion show at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. One British photographer shouts at her, 'Don't be so miserable!' as she goes to get into her awaiting car.

Following the Holmes & Yang preview, the editor of People StyleWatch Susan Kaufman described the line as 'very clean but with a cool factor' and added that she could 'easily see her [Holmes] wearing it'; according to Kaufman, the most successful celebrity fashion lines are those where the celeb is 'proud' to wear their own designs.
