Lady Gaga's parents had the grand opening of their new restaurant Joanne recently but it wasn't attended by the superstar, to the disappointment of her fans who showed up. However, collaborator and friend Tony Bennett arrived, which generated interest from the fans.
However, the low key restaurant has received a harsh review in the New York Post from food critic Steve Cuozzo. While he acknowledged that a new restaurant shouldn't expect to be 'running on all cylinders', he described the food as 'fatty' and 'overpriced', with appetisers that 'took 50 minutes to arrive.'
