The latest series kicks off on Thursday and the rumour mill is in overdrive.
This series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ promises some “brilliant” housemates whose names haven't even hit the rumour mill yet, according to ‘Bit on the Side’ host Rylan Clark. The new series kicks off on Thursday and already names including 'TOWIE's' Lewis Bloor, Katie Waissel, Lil’ Kim and David Cassidy have all been rumoured, with Christopher Biggins joining the list today.
Is Christopher Biggins headed into 'Celebrity Big Brother'?
Appearing on ‘This Morning’, Rylan was shown pictures of the rumoured names and pressed for any info by hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford. But Rylan refused to give any confirmation, telling the hosts: “No I wouldn't tell you nothing.”
“Of course I know I work on the show, I know everything," he continued. "All I will say is that normally when you see the rumours in the papers there's some substance behind some of their names.” Ruth then asked him: "Can I ask you this then is one of them people definitely in?”
After a brief pause Ryan then screamed “Yes!”, before adding: "There are names in there that haven't hit the rumour mill and they are brilliant!” Last week the big name rumoured was 70's pop star David Cassidy, however a spokesperson later told The Express that the rumours "are not true and he will not be on CBB this season”.
Today The Sun reported that former ‘I'm a Celebrity...Me Out of Here!’ winner and panto legend Christopher Biggins had singed up for a £150,000 fee, making him one of the highest paid housemates ever.
‘TOWIE’s’ Lewis Bloor has also been heavily rumoured as well as ‘Geordie Shore’s' Marnie Simpson, former ‘X Factor’ contestant Katie Waissel, Anthea Turner’s ex husband Grant Bovey and 'Ex on the Beach’s' Stephen Bear.
From across the pond, ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’s’ wife Beth Chapman is said to have signed up, as well as ‘Mob Wives’ star Renee Graziano and rapper LIL' KIM. 'Celebrity Big Brother' beings on Channel 5 at 9pm, Thursday July 28th.
