Already enjoying cult status stateside, there's a genuine buzz about Celebration and their music. It's all about their highly-charged live performances; Katrina's intense energy and David's scattershot drumming are matched by Sean's multi-instrumental virtuosity - he plays an armoury of organs, electric keyboards, Moog bass pedals as well as a hand-built "guitorgan". Onstage, Sean's concentrated, four-limbed performances summon a dense, swirling sound which leaves David and Katrina free to follow their instincts - and the audience breathless.
'New Skin' is the third single to be taken off their self-titled debut album and coincides with them touring Europe for only the second time. They reach the UK on the 12th May to play the 333 club in London, the night before they play All Tomorrow's Parties at Camber Sands for the very first time (13th May). After that, they play two shows with TV On The Radio (London ULU on the 15th and Manchester Night and Day on the 16th) then they head off with Yeah Yeah Yeahs for a support stint around the continent (18th-31st May) before returning home to the US.
