The two-hour opener drew just 4.47 million viewers. While the first hour attracted 5.21 million, only 3.96 million stayed tuned for the second hour. Last year's series debut, by contrast, drew 11.44 million, but the audience progressively eroded over the length of the season. Meanwhile, CBS's NCIS continued to bag more than 20 million viewers. Tuesday's edition counted 21.49 million. NCIS: Los Angeles, which followed, counted 16.57 million.
