The most-watched scripted show on TV this summer may not have been CBS's Under the Dome, it turns out. It was not even carried by a broadcast network, in fact. Disney Channel said on Monday that its Teen Beach Movie, which had its premiere on July 19, was seen by about 13.5 million viewers -- making it the second-most-watched movie in cable history. That includes 8.4 million who tuned in for the live broadcast and 5.1 million who watched on their DVRs during the next seven days. Some 59 percent of the total number of viewers were children aged 2-11. The most-watched cable movie in history was another Disney Channel offering, High School Musical 2, which averaged 18.6 million viewers in August 2007.
