The stunning views actress Catherine Zeta-Jones was hoping to admire from her dream Welsh home are set to be ruined - by a giant wind farm.
The Chicago beauty and her actor husband MICHAEL DOUGLAS - who have already unsuccessfully battled to stop a neighbour set up a business - will now be forced to look out on a cluster of thirty propellers from their $2.7 million (GBP1.5 million) property in the seaside village of Mumbles.
Zeta-Jones reportedly fell in love with the spot because of it's breathtaking outlook, but yesterday (07JUL04) the Welsh Assembly gave the go-ahead for the $198,000 (GBP110,000) farm to be constructed on sands off shore.
One pal of the couple tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "She has had nothing but trouble with this house. The view is the whole point of living there.
"It is stunning - but it will not be with a wind farm in the way."08/07/2004 02:22
