Hip-hop star BRYAN 'BABY' WILLIAMS has settled a lawsuit with a jewellery store near Miami Beach, Florida - which alleged he failed to pay for $85,000 (GBP48,000) of jewellery he'd ordered.

The GRAMMY-nominated rapper - also known as BIRDMAN - and KING'S JEWELLERS in Bay Harbor Islands agreed Williams should pay $57,500 (GBP32,000) and keep the jewellery.

Court documents show the agreement means neither party admits liability or any wrongdoing.

King's Jewellers had claimed Williams ordered and approved the custom jewellery - a pendant made of 18-carat white gold and large diamonds shaped to read 'BM', worth $23,500 (GBP13,000), and nine similar pendants worth a total of $54,000 (GBP33,000), each inscribed with the name of his record label, Cash Money RECORDS.

The exclusive shop had claimed Williams never paid or collected the items.
