Socialite Casey Johnson's ex-girlfriend has put newsman Larry King on notice over a planned TV interview with the heiress' fiancee Tila Tequila.
Jasmine Lennard's lawyers have issued a warning to King, the producers of Larry King Live and TV network CNN, which airs his daily show, threatening action if reality TV star Tequila defames their client on the news programme.
In a letter to King and his producers, obtained by TMZ.com, the attorneys warn them not to let Tequila use the show as "a platform to make further false and defamatory allegations" about Lennard.
These include making allegations suggesting Lennard has a criminal record or outstanding warrant, among other sensational claims.
Meanwhile, Tequila has been telling fans her appearance on Larry King Live has been scrapped.
Last week, Johnson's family opposed King's plans to interview Tequila about her fiancee's death.
