Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together.
Carrie Underwood is pregnant.
The former 'American Idol' winner, 31, and husband Mike Fisher announced on Twitter tonight (01.09.14) that they're expecting their first child together.
The blonde beauty posted a picture of her sitting with her two dogs Ace and Penny wearing T-shirts saying: ''I'm going to be a big brother,'' and, ''I'm going to be a big sister.''
Alongside the adorable snap, she tweeted: ''In honor of ''Labor'' Day...Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier! (sic).''
The new parents-to-be, who began dating in 2008 after meeting at one of her concerts, became engaged in December 2009 and tied the knot six months later at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, Georgia, in front of 250 guests.
Meanwhile, Carrie previously praised her husband for having the ability to calm her nerves before a big performance.
She said in June this year: ''If I'm nervous, he'll be like, 'C'mon, you have nothing to be nervous about. Just go do what you do and take a deep breath and say a little prayer and you're good to go.' Just being able to get a little kiss and go about my way, it definitely has a calming effect.''
