Carole King led guests in a singalong at a star-studded fundraiser for U.S. politician Ed Markey in New York City on Friday (11Apr14).
Actress Lois Robbins threw the bash at her home in Manhattan to bring in donations for the Massachusetts senator's re-election campaign.
Attendees, including Hollywood actor Michael Douglas, were treated to a singalong led by King in Robbins' living room, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
A source tells the publication, "Carole told the crowd to sing along with her and everyone happily obliged."
In a post on her Twitter.com account after the event, Robbins wrote, "What a night! Thank you! Carole King Ed Markey. Let's get Ed re-elected."
